Signs of life

I have started to notice quite a few signs that Spring has taken hold of my little corner of Suffolk.
The first sign is daylight, now at 6.30 am while walking my dog I can see the small changes a daily basis and it makes the walk that little bit more enjoyable, even if it does mean that Prince the Lab, now has more grass to sniff!

The second sign is the again seen and heard early in the morning for me, birds, birds and a few more birds.  Starlings, sparrows, tits, and blackbirds all collecting material, singing and occasional fighting each other, which I love to watch though I could do without the resident wood pigeons calling near my bedroom window.

So this morning i decided to take 5 mins out of the hectic morning schedule and with camera and tea I decided to find those most important signs of life in my garden - my beloved fruit trees and bushes starting to wake up.

Black currant buds
Cherry Stella leaves starting to show
My Conference pear from rejected sale stock last Nov is alive too.
The flowering currant looks lovely

More currants, this time in pots

Tulips ( I know not fruit bushes but they are lovely)

My 4 apple trees, gooseberry's, plum tree, and raspberries are yet to wake up, so i will keep my eye out for these as well.
