goodbye and hello
So the last weekend of May has gone and we are now into June, and i find myself feeling a bit behind. I still have tomatoes to put into there final position as well as butternut squash, peppers, herbs and I have forgotten to sow lettuce so will have a bit of a gap I can hopefully fill with salad leaves, beet leaves and kale.
I did manage to plant out my beans and corn over the bank holiday and I have harvested my first lot of peas and cabbage.
The bad news was I found canker on my cherry tree, and it was oozing quite a bit so I decided to get rid before it spread to my precious peach tree.
There's a gap somewhere
As it was a cheapy from QD I not to bothered by the loss, but it has taught me that when I buy the replacement I really do need a dwarfing rootstock purely for better management.
I have also being finding a few of these fellows around, future ladybirds
