Hello world!
New Year - New aims
My 2012 aim is contentment . . with my life, my home, my job and with my new passion gardening and blogging i hope. So for 2012 I will be blogging about my garden the trails and new bits and achievements as I get to move into my 2nd year gardening and first whole year fruit and veg gardening. I am hoping to include photography and my other hobbies as well.
So on the lovely snowy day (2nd weekend running) i will take a stock of what i have got and what i want to do in the garden this year.

I currently have no greenhouse but an empty Cat pen ( We foster cats for the local RSPCA as well) this pen will be leaving soon which hopefully will leave me with space for a greenhouse and some fruit trees in large pots.
So that's my little paradise, a bit frozen today a but hopefully productive by June.

My Garden currently looks like this:-
- Five 1msq raised beds with kit to add a sixth
- Paved area for pots alongside south facing fence. I did have some beds here last year, but unfortunately neighbour has leylandii hedge alongside fence and two climbers that grow over the fence. I have to trim the climber down 3/4 times last year and makes having crops in the bed difficulty. So this year I am going to use the area for Potato bags and Tom in pots so I can move them around., when the hedge trimmer needs to come out.
- I have a former slated area near shed which will be more fruit bush area, and there is a small garden out front that I may put some fruit bushes in to.
- Strawberry bed from last year
- Corner bed opposite strawberry that has cottage flowers in which will stay.
So that's my little paradise, a bit frozen today a but hopefully productive by June.
I look forward to seeing your garden develop. Hopefully I can pick up some useful tips. Doesn't sound like you need it but, good luck!
