A shed of my own

The best way to keep weeds down

I have finished decorating the old shed in my garden and it is now my little haven with electricity, radio and kettle.  What do you think?

On the garden front, I have started to harvest plums, and they are lovely and no maggot yet so bonus, the beans are coming in thick and fast but thankfully they freeze well unlike Courgettes and Cucumbers which I am still getting every day and starting to find it hard to even give them away, so I am searching the internet for recipe ideas, my gherkins have been great this year and there are 6 jars of pickled gherkins maturing in the cupboard.

The melon is still growing strong as is the apples, so there is just a bit of tiding up to do and sit and enjoy the summer sun.

  1. Love the muted colour you've painted your shed. Sounds a great place to relax in!
Please post any courgette/cucumber recipes you find worth trying.
    Kind regards, Penny.

  2. Love your shed! Can I ask what type of melon did you grow? I've had no luck with melons yet but love to eat them :0)
