The bugs back

So it's the 11th March, and the old gardening bug had been growing strong, but with the wet weather we have been having here and the non gardening days (moon calendar) falling at the weekends, i find myself planning more than doing.
My Alamac / gardening planner

So I been doing a bit of reading, and found this book at my local library, The living garden by Jane Powers. I found this book to be one of best gardening books I have read in a long while. She has an way of writing that gives you information and inspiration and the same time.  I would recommend this book to novice and experienced gardeners alike, especially those interested in gardening in harmony with nature.

After reading this book and a copy of gardeners world I have decided to add a witch hazel to my garden to add a bit of late winter/ early spring interest. I think I am going to go for one called Arnold Promise, and I will keep my blog updated with this venture.
