Not time to put your feet up yet

So like most of the country we have had some unusual weather here on the East coast, not at least the strong winds, and it is these that have done the most damaged.  In the first storm, I had to rescue my beans, crap apple tree, holly hocks and a couple of tomatoes, today I have lost my runner beans, hollyhocks and a couple of corn stalks - oh well.

On the plus side the heavy rains has made my winter veg start growing in great leaps and my celery is starting to bulk up, but with the chill starting to come in the evening air I am hoping my tomatoes and butternut squash start to ripen up soon.
