Starting to wilt
So the heat and humidity continues and my water empties faster than it fills the wilt sets in to me not the plants though.
As a lover of cold and frosty mornings I personally struggle in this heat so I do most of my gardening in the morning, and today I harvested my Charlotte potatoes and what I think is kestrel but there from a donated spud so not sure.
After a bit of general tidying, tying and harvesting courgettes, beans, toms and plums I hacked the honeysuckle down that grows over my fence from my neighhbours and blocks out sun and any precious rain we may get, and I must say it looks better neat. Then I was all done for 11 am so enjoyed tea an plums for mid morning snack yum.
