All sparkling and ready to go
Well we have had two whole dry days this weekend, and I have managed to fix the missing panel and clean the greenhouse inside and out, which is now clean and ready to be filled with seedlings. I also got the two raised bed fixed, and even managed to feed and compost one of them, placed some cardboard down to try and warm the soil up a bit for March.
While tiding up the bed I noticed loads of pansy/viola seedlings, so never one to let free plants go, I have potted some of these up and turned the others over its an unusual green manure but oh well. I have also potted up some fox glove seedling that were growing in the wrong place and a couple of hollyhocks that were coming up in the wood-chip - if they grow on in the pots they will be planted behind the greenhouse in a hope to encourage more bees and hoover flies in the area.
Next week I am off to my local potato day and seed swap - I am hoping to get some blue potatoes to try this year.
