Mud glorious mud

So its November already, and my little garden is starting to look very bare and muddy.
I had a bad fall in the first week of September which meant I couldn't garden for three weeks which has left behind in my jobs and lacking a bit of motivation.
Two of my beds have rotting sides so this winter I have decided to repair and increase their size by joining them up should get an extra 2 ft sq in growing space, but this does mean I have no winter veg growing this year.

I picked the last of the cucumbers today and strangely some gladiolas that came into bloom this weekend, they are looking lovely on my window sill in the kitchen.

I have also planted my garlic and turned the old strawberry bed into a raspberry bed, as I never really looked after the strawberry’s very well. I am planning on making a gutter garden in the New Year to grow strawberries in and hopefully at a higher height I will attend to the better.

  1. Yep it's that time of the year when it's all bare and naked down on the plot, unless you grow over winter which I forget to do.
