Mid October and need to crack on
well for me its the end of the growing season,I have a few things still surviving like two cucumber plants and three pepper plants in the greenhouse. But what hasn't gone over in the garden already the storms this week finally killed off.
So I have started to tidy up and plan for next year, I have two raised beds splitting where the wood has rotted already thankfully they are near each other so the old wood is coming out and I am going to join the beds to make on very long bed.
Overall the year this year has been a very mixed bag with some exceptional crops, mange-tout, blackcurrants and swede and some real disappointment, corn, beets, and tomatoes.
But seed catalogues at the ready time to plan for next season.
