Seeking Advice

Hi

I am looking for a bit of advice on fruit bushes.  My order of Raspberry (6) Gooseberry(6) and white currant bushes(4) have been delivered this work, perfect timing normally as I am on annual leave this week, but with all the snow and frost we have seen on the East coast my ground is solid.

So I would like to know what my fellow gardeners would do, leave the bare root plants in there boxes in shed or greenhouse to the ground warms up or plant them in pots till the ground warms up.

Any advice, suggestions and guidance greatly appreciated.

thanks

Hey there. I would pot them up as fruit bushes are just starting to break out of dormancy (my fruit bushes are anyway), the ground shouldn't stay hard for too long, but they will be looking for water and light. Its just a bit of a pain having to plant them twice.
