Nature does it better and guilty pleasures

My lilac bush and morello cherry are in blossom at the same time this year and the mix of purple and white is glorious to see especially this past cold damp week.

I have also indulged in my secret weekends this week - rescuing plants from the reject pile in a well known DIY store

Anybody else do this, or is it just me.  All the plants in the above photo were in the clearance pile, and cost just £7 bargain!

Now i need the drizzle to stop so i can plant them.
